A 19-year-old man was arrested for pointing a gun at his younger brother during an argument while playing NBA 2K.
A 19-year-old man in Indiana, USA, has been arrested for threatening a child with a weapon. According to a report from 14 News, on March 16th, Evansville police received a call from a man reporting that his son was acting erratically and pointing a gun at his younger brother.
The 19-year-old suspect, Javan J. Jackson, was subsequently arrested and questioned by police. He claimed that while playing the basketball game NBA 2K, his younger brother constantly bothered and taunted him, causing him frustration and an argument. The two then went outside to settle their dispute, and Javan pulled out a gun from his hip to threaten his father. When their father tried to intervene, Javan abandoned the gun and fled the scene.
The younger brother's testimony corroborated the suspect's statement. The children in the house also said that when the suspect pulled out the gun, he waved and pointed it around as if to threaten them. Police also found the gun at the scene, loaded and fully capable of firing live ammunition, making the suspect's actions extremely dangerous.
Javan J. Jackson is currently facing charges including domestic violence, threats with a dangerous weapon, and reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon.
