Dispatch officially launched on Xbox this summer.
After a period of dominating other platforms, the highly anticipated interactive visual novel game Dispatch will officially be available on all consoles when it arrives on Xbox this summer.
First released in the latter half of 2025 on PC and PlayStation 5, before making its way to the Nintendo Switch 2, Dispatch quickly garnered significant attention from the gaming community. However, the Switch 2 version faced considerable criticism due to issues with the game's automated censorship system.
The good news for fans is that the upcoming Xbox version will likely not face this hurdle, giving players full control over the level of censorship. AdHoc, the developer, has also confirmed that they are actively working with Nintendo to find a satisfactory solution to address the censorship issue on the company's console.
Not only did Dispatch make a splash in the community, but it also affirmed its excellent quality at the 2026 BAFTA Awards. Alongside the blockbuster Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, this game proudly led in the number of nominations. The work also received countless glowing reviews from Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, the talented director behind the masterpiece The Witcher 3, who didn't hesitate to call Dispatch his own 'Game of the Year'.
The game's immense appeal is further evidenced by its impressive market figures. In less than a month since its release, Dispatch successfully sold 2 million copies, an extremely impressive achievement for its genre.
According to the plan, the game will officially launch on the Xbox platform and immediately become available on the Xbox Game Pass subscription service this summer. However, the specific release date is still being kept secret by the publisher.
