Rumors are circulating that GTA 6 may launch simultaneously on Switch 2, with an internal leak sparking anticipation within the community.
Recently, YouTuber and game interviewer KiwiTalkz shared on the X platform that he had placed a bet with an internal source at Rockstar regarding whether GTA 6 would be released on the Nintendo Switch 2. According to KiwiTalkz, this source has a history of accurately revealing industry information, making it quite reliable. For the past few months, this person has consistently asserted that GTA 6 would be released simultaneously on the Switch 2 and other platforms from day one.
However, KiwiTalkz remained skeptical, deeming it "unlikely to happen." Unable to reach an agreement, they decided to… place a bet on the official outcome. Specifically, they agreed on early May as the deadline. If Rockstar hadn't announced GTA 6 for Switch 2 by then, KiwiTalkz would win the bet and receive a lavish meal from the other party. Conversely, if Rockstar confirmed the Switch 2 release, the insider would be the winner.
KiwiTalkz even revealed that he had booked a flight to India in June and jokingly said that everything was ready to 'celebrate the victory,' and that he would share pictures of the meal with the community if he won the bet. Currently, Rockstar has not made any official announcements about the release platform of GTA 6. The game is expected to launch in November 2026, and rumors of a Switch 2 appearance – especially given the intriguing betting storyline – are making fans even more curious.
While awaiting confirmation from Rockstar, the question of whether GTA 6 will actually be coming to Switch 2 remains one of the biggest unknowns in the gaming world right now.
