Borderlands 4 launches Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned!

2K, along with Gearbox, has officially released Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned , the first story expansion for Borderlands 4 .

In this expansion, the game will introduce C4SH – a brand new Vault Hunter – along with a new area complete with a host of exciting quests and activities for you to experience.

Not only that, throughout the game you will also encounter a series of unique 'bosses' and, of course, lots and lots of guns.

Notably, this is only the first of two planned story expansions for the game.

Currently, the Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned expansion is available to Borderlands 4 players on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) for $30 when purchased separately.

If you already own the Super Deluxe Edition or the Vault Hunter Pack, you won't need to pay for the expansion.
