G2's jungler SkewMond broke the LP record on the EUW server.
G2 Esports' jungler, SkewMond, has just set a historic milestone on the Western European League of Legends (EUW) solo queue leaderboard. Not only did he brilliantly snatch the top spot from his teammate Caps, but he also broke the server-wide LP record with an unprecedented achievement of 2,421 LP.
The previous record for LP on the EUW server belonged to the young talent Caliste 'Caliste' Henry-Hennebert of the Karmine Corp team, who reached 2,415 LP about a month ago. To surpass this impressive achievement, SkewMond displayed a devastating performance in matches with extremely high MMR (Matchmaking Rating) scores.
Statistics from the last 20 matches show that G2's jungler has secured 13 wins and suffered only 7 losses, despite playing in lobbies with average MMR reaching Challenger 1,382 LP. Notably, due to his extremely high ranking, his LP gain/loss ratio is incredibly harsh: on average, he only gains 12 LP per win but loses 27 LP per loss.
The key factor behind SkewMond's dominance in the rankings is his outstanding performance with the champion Vi. Across 43 games, he boasts an impressive 73% win rate with the Piltover Enforcer. In his last 20 games using Vi, he secured 15 wins and suffered only 5 losses, maintaining a KDA of 5.4 in lobbies with an average MMR of 1,424 LP.
With the newly established milestone of 2,421 LP, SkewMond now holds the record for the highest LP ever recorded on the Western European server. This achievement not only breaks the previous record but also once again affirms the absolute strength and dominance of G2 Esports players at the top of the solo queue rankings.
