Both women's League of Legends tournaments debuted last year, and the second edition of the Nova Series was confirmed earlier this week for the latter half of 2026. Notably, the return of Game Changers Rising is marked by a major turning point as the tournament's rights have officially been acquired by NEO (New Esports Org).

This is a new esports organization based in France, which also recently acquired the rights to run the EMEA Masters League of Legends tournament – where the renowned team Witchcraft recently suffered a surprising defeat.

The NEO organization is currently run by Bertrand Amar and Matthieu Dallon, two extremely familiar and experienced names in the French esports scene. Previously, both had a long association and worked for the prestigious tournament organizer Webedia.

It appears that this takeover organization has taken on the majority of Webedia's key esports projects, including the prestigious fighting game event EVO France and the virtual reality FPS tournament EVA Pro League.
