The survival role-playing game Neverway has set its release date.

The highly anticipated life simulation RPG Neverway has officially confirmed its arrival on PC and Nintendo Switch later this year. Importantly, fans won't have to wait much longer, as the game's opening sequence is now available for free download and play.

During the Triple I Initiative presentation, developer Coldblood Inc. announced the official release date for the highly anticipated Neverway: October 2026. From the very beginning of the project's unveiling, the game quickly garnered attention from the simulation genre community, promising to make 2026 a breakout year for this game series.

To help players count down to the full version's release, the developers have delivered great news: the Neverway opening is now available on Steam. PC users can download this demo to get the most authentic feel for the unique world the game is building.

Under the co-direction of the pixel art designer who contributed to the popular game Celeste, Neverway is described as a bold blend of horror, life simulation, and action role-playing.

The game's plot revolves around the main character, Fiona. After deciding to quit her stagnant city job, she returns to a secluded farm to start over. However, a real turning point in her life occurs when Fiona unexpectedly becomes the immortal messenger of a deceased god. The player's task is to maintain their normal life while simultaneously embarking on a journey to find Neverway – a nightmarish dimension that is gradually leaking and infiltrating the real world.

The game offers a fast-paced, top-down combat system. Alongside the breathtaking action, players can still experience a peaceful life through crafting items, farming, and decorating their own property. The game's time system is divided into three distinct periods: morning, afternoon, and evening, requiring players to wisely allocate their activities.

Furthermore, the social interaction aspect is also meticulously developed. Neverway offers over 10 characters that Fiona can befriend or develop relationships with. Each character possesses a unique daily routine and storyline. Notably, building strong relationships with these NPCs will unlock additional buffs and combat skills, making the survival journey amidst the nightmares much easier.
