The Razer Boomslang 20th Anniversary Edition gaming mouse is a tribute to Razer's beginnings. It takes the company's first gaming mouse design and, 20 years later, incorporates the latest technologies to create an extremely valuable collector's item. However, Razer has priced it quite high.

Never one to shy away from exorbitant prices, Razer went all out with the Razer Boomslang 20th Anniversary Edition. Although not made of solid gold, it cost a staggering $1,337. Or rather, it was 'sold out,' as all 1,337 of these limited-edition mice were sold.

Packaged in a luxurious, faux-leather-wrapped round box, the Razer Boomslang 20th Anniversary Edition comes with a wireless charging dock, ideal for displaying your premium item on your desk. However, like the recent Phantom Green collection, this mouse only has a clear green plastic shell, a color that people either love or hate.

The buttons also have a special faux leather surface that feels slightly soft to the touch. It certainly provides a good grip.

The side buttons will feel quite unusual to the modern hand, with each button on one side of the mouse and hidden behind a front protrusion to create the feel of using five fingers simultaneously. This also creates a truly ambidextrous design, something we haven't seen much of lately.

Inside, it boasts a host of cutting-edge technologies. It features the company's Focus Pro 45K Gen-2 optical sensor, fourth-generation optical switches, and can sample at speeds up to 8kHz. Battery life is also impressive at up to 145 hours, but that's understandable given its weight of 110g! It's not a replacement for the Viper V4 Pro.
