The Division Resurgence reveals new faction 'The Freemen' ahead of its release.

The Freemen are led by Arthur Knight, a former businessman who lost his family in the Manhattan epidemic – the main setting of The Division series. This personal tragedy has driven him to extremism, leading him to build a unique, pseudo-medieval-themed organization. Unlike familiar factions, The Freemen utilize custom-made weapons with unique, post-apocalyptic designs, giving the impression of being closer to Mad Max than a modern military world.

Arthur Knight, nicknamed 'King', portrays himself as a king with a 'throne' and a loyal army operating in Midtown Manhattan. This faction is organized according to a unique model, with a 'round table' of close associates, demonstrating their ambition to control and reshape order in their own extreme way. The appearance of The Freemen promises to bring new challenges to players, both in terms of combat and storyline exploration.

The addition of a new faction right at launch shows that The Division Resurgence has relatively rich content. After a long period of limited information, this move is seen as a positive sign, indicating that the developers are still preparing plenty of content to maintain the game's long-term appeal.

Despite differing somewhat from the series' original realistic tone, The Freemen remains a noteworthy highlight, contributing to the diversity of the game world. With its release date fast approaching, The Division Resurgence is gradually revealing key pieces, promising a fresh experience for fans of the survival shooter genre on mobile platforms.
