Support Bie's impressive "comeback" in the TSW jersey.
The Vietnamese League of Legends esports team, Team Secret Whales (TSW), showed significant progress at the recent LCP 2026 Stage 1 tournament. Defeating all their opponents, they won their first championship and secured a spot representing the region at First Stand 2026. Their opening match will be against a rather interesting opponent: G2 – the European champions, but also a team with unpredictable form.
In a pre-match interview, Support player Tran Duc Hieu (Bie) affirmed that the entire team is quite confident and determined to showcase the prowess of the LCP region. As one of the most experienced players, Bie stated that the TSW team has helped him rekindle his passion and enthusiasm for professional competition. Bie himself continues to strive daily to maintain his form and become a source of moral support for the younger players in the team.
Throughout the LCP 2026 Phase 1 season, he repeatedly demonstrated his value in crucial situations, contributing to important victories. Looking back on his experience in the ON Live VCS 2025 tournament, Bie believes it was a time that helped him mature. Now, he has the opportunity to showcase everything he has learned and accumulated.
Confident of creating an upset against G2 Esports
He also didn't forget to praise Coach Chen "WarHorse" Ju-Chih, who helped him and the team members significantly improve in many professional aspects. Thanks to learning from Coach Warhorse, Bie feels he has clearly improved in vision control and teamfight capabilities. Therefore, he is much more confident in his role as the main call-team leader.
However, Bie affirmed that there are moments when other team members are perfectly capable of doing this. The ability to share roles helps increase cohesion among the players and greatly enhances the team's skills. Speaking about the pressure of participating in First Stand 2026 for the first time, Bie asserted that this is an international arena bringing together top names, so there are certainly no weak opponents. Therefore, he always believes in the spirit and determination of the entire team.
Assessing their opponent G2 in the opening match, Bie noted that while they are very strong, they are also known for their "unpredictable" form. Therefore, he expects to create a surprise in this first encounter. Finally, Bie expressed his pride in being able to represent the LCP region with TSW at the First Stand 2026 tournament. He affirmed that the entire team will do their best to win as many matches as possible, in response to the expectations and support of Vietnamese League of Legends fans.
