John Carpenter's Toxic Commando is an exciting zombie shooting game coming soon.
John Carpenter's Toxic Commando is a shooter game by Saber Interactive that shares many similarities with the modern-day Zombies mode of CoD.
Who doesn't love a little relaxing entertainment? John Carpenter's Toxic Commando is a team-based first-person shooter (FPS) where you're tasked with saving the world from the Sludge God, battling hordes of zombies along the way.
Saber Interactive's shooter game shares many similarities with the modern-day Zombies mode of CoD. Players search for powerful gear on the map, travel to different locations to interact with terminals, and battle against hordes of easily decimated zombies.

The difference lies in the complexity of the missions. While Zombies typically presents fairly complex objectives, even before discovering Easter Eggs, Toxic Commando always follows the structure of 'driving somewhere, interacting with an object, and fighting off a horde of zombies'.
With just nine main missions, taking over five hours to complete, everything is designed to be simple, focusing on eliminating zombies. The map is easy to navigate, ammunition is plentiful, vehicles move smoothly, and weak points always glow red. You join your team, collect a few spare parts to unlock unique weapons for the final battle, shoot whatever it takes, and return to Leon's base to prepare for the next mission.

That simple structure is kept appealing by Toxic Commando's truly satisfying FPS mechanics. Unlike many other multiplayer zombie shooters, Saber's game really delivers a good gameplay experience. All weapons have a certain weight, and the feeling of wiping out hordes of zombies is fantastic. I didn't really feel like replaying missions, but there are plenty of weapons and a full suite of competitive shooter-level attachments to unlock and equip to boost your firepower.
