GTA 5 is coming to an end, and Rockstar is already preparing for GTA 6.
Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5) is an enduring icon in the open-world game genre. This title broke numerous sales records in the video game industry and became the fastest-selling entertainment product in history, achieving $800 million in revenue within one day and $1 billion within three days of its release.
However, Rockstar recently posted the credits for GTA 5 and GTA Online on its website. This is a very clear move to announce that GTA 5 is nearing its end, and they also didn't forget to say 'thank you' to all those who have supported the game and the project.
While undoubtedly one of the best open-world games of all time, GTA 5 seems to have fallen short compared to newer titles released in recent years.
Is this the end of the GTA series? The answer is definitely no. According to leaked information from Rockstar, the reason they announced their farewell to GTA 5 is to focus all their efforts on preparing for the upcoming GTA 6, set to be released in two years. Furthermore, the next game is rumored to be set in Miami, similar to Vice City. Not only that, we'll follow a pair of main characters developed to resemble the bank robbers Bonnie and Clyde.
GTA 6 is released.
GTA 6 won't be released for at least another two years. So why not continue enjoying GTA 5 Online with your friends and wait for the next masterpiece from Rockstar?
