The stealth action game Spy Drops has set a release date for PS5 and Xbox Series.

Publisher Rainy Frog and development team Rainy Night Creations have officially announced that the retro-style stealth action game Spy Drops will be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series 1 on April 28th.

As a member of the Spy Drops counter-terrorism force, players will shoulder the responsibility of neutralizing a threat that could plunge the world into a dark digital age. However, in the course of their mission to infiltrate enemy lines, gamers will inadvertently become entangled in a much darker and more sinister conspiracy.

One of the game's unique features is the Dream Catcher device. When infiltrating infrastructure, players must use this tool to extract intelligence directly from the minds of guards, thereby locating the next targets. Additionally, the randomly generated levels promise an intensely tense experience, as you'll never know what awaits you in the next corner, ensuring each playthrough is a completely different journey.

Spy Drops' gameplay demands extreme caution as players must clear each room and find ways to overcome enemies capable of detecting shadows and listening to footsteps. Players are given maximum freedom in choosing tactics: from dodging, hacking, or shooting down cameras, sneaking past or knocking out guards, to hiding in closets or using sponge boots to completely eliminate noise while moving.

The inventory system offers a wide range of modern equipment for players to freely customize before each mission, including drones, hacking devices, explosives, and night vision goggles. Notably, weather and day-night cycles will directly impact the surrounding environment, potentially becoming obstacles or perfect camouflage, forcing players to carefully plan their gear. New equipment and weapons will gradually be unlocked through research as the game progresses.

Besides the main story campaign, Spy Drops also offers a thrilling local multiplayer mode called Spy vs. Spy. Additionally, challenge-seeking gamers can participate in independent, randomly generated missions to push their skill limits to the maximum, thereby earning a place on the global leaderboard and competing for top positions with other players worldwide.
