Despite its recent release, the latest installment, Rage 2, has received quite a lot of positive feedback from the gaming community. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world, from lush forests and dangerous swamps to scorching deserts. Players take on the role of Walker, the last Ranger of the Wasteland. After losing his home and being left to die, Walker decides to traverse the Wasteland, searching for tools and technology to fight against the "government" ruling this post-apocalyptic land. And of course, a vast land is not without its gangs uniting into a formidable resistance force, and Rage 2 will deliver an experience that Bethesda describes as "more than a shooter , more than an open-world game – it's a super shooter." Unsurprisingly, the ending of Rage 2 leaves several parts open, enough to pave the way for a sequel .

However, this is just a plan, and nothing is truly clear about the future of Rage 3. It likely depends heavily on the success of the second installment. While the reviews are quite positive, two days is too short to tell. If Rage 2 continues to live up to the expectations of gamers and Bethesda after some time, this could be the biggest stepping stone for the developers to create a third game. Of course, if Rage 3 does become a reality, we'll probably have to wait at least another year or two to enjoy it.
