AOC Agon Pro AG326UZD2 - a new gaming monitor that's 'worth every penny'.

The AOC Agon Pro AG326UZD2 monitor promises superior color accuracy, a 240Hz refresh rate, and higher brightness compared to previous generation OLED monitors.

AOC has just launched one of the most impressive gaming monitors in recent years. The AOC Agon Pro AG326UZD2 not only boasts a 32-inch size and 4K resolution, but also utilizes the latest 4th generation QD-OLED technology, all for just $1,080. This price is still considered premium, but given the performance it delivers, it's an excellent value for a 32-inch OLED gaming monitor.

The combination of this screen size and 4K resolution creates an excellent balance between display space and sharpness. Now, with the AG326UZD2, AOC is updating this format and bringing it to life at a great price.

AOC describes the AG326UZD2 as a 'significant step forward' from the original AG326UD panel, thanks to a dramatic increase in refresh rate from 240Hz to 165Hz, improved brightness, and better HDR. Brightness has increased to a maximum of 1,000 units, while the panel is rated DisplayHDR 500 instead of DisplayHDR 400, indicating the ability to achieve higher maximum brightness while maintaining deep blacks and near-infinite contrast.

The significance of the 4th generation QD-OLED panel is that, along with improved brightness, its subpixels – the red, green, and blue lights that make up each pixel – now have a better shape and layout than previous versions, resulting in improved sharpness and reduced color fringing around high-contrast edges. This layout isn't quite as good as the RGB color gamut layout of the fifth-generation panels, but it's still a significant step forward.

In addition to the above factors, the AG326UZD2 delivers extremely high color reproduction thanks to its 10-bit panel. It can display 1.07 billion colors and cover 99.7% of the DCI-P3 color space, meaning it can effectively meet all the necessary color requirements, even for the most demanding HDR requirements.

Beyond its impressive image display capabilities, this monitor offers a range of significant additional features. Two HDMI 2.1 ports support 4K resolution at a 120Hz refresh rate on PS5 and Xbox Series X or S, while a DisplayPort 2.1 (UHBR 20) connection allows you to achieve full 4K resolution at a 240Hz refresh rate on your gaming PC. There's also a USB-C video input port capable of delivering 65W of power, enabling laptop connection with just a single cable.

More exciting USB features come from a hub with two USB-A ports downstream and one USB-B port upstream, including KVM functionality, making it easy to switch peripherals between connected devices.

Available on the market in April 2026, the AOC Agon Pro AG326UZD2 is priced at £799 in the UK, equivalent to $1,080 in the US, although we are awaiting official information from AOC regarding US pricing.
