AMD launches Ryzen Threadripper 9000 Zen 5 processor line – Tin Gadget

Equipped with a sTR5 socket compatible with previous generation motherboards, a TDP maintained at 350W, and full overclocking support on DIY versions, AMD aims to help users both utilize their existing systems and easily upgrade performance when needed.
Additionally, AMD is simultaneously launching the Ryzen™ Threadripper™ PRO 9000 WX‑Series for professional workstations, supporting 8-channel DDR5‑6400 memory and up to 128 PCIe 5.0 lanes—optimized for engineering tasks, large AI models, and dual/multi-GPU systems. The PRO series includes AMD PRO Technologies, providing enterprise management capabilities, security, and high stability to meet the needs of large organizations.
