The latest update for Cyberpunk 2077 introduced several major additions, such as a complete metro system, replayable racing games, improved boss battles, a new romance event, and more. With that update bringing so many significant features, it's perhaps unsurprising that several new bugs also appeared. Cyberpunk 2077 has always been plagued by bugs, and while the development team has significantly improved this since the game's release, some bugs still persist. Fortunately for fans of this sci-fi RPG, it seems that fixes for some of these bugs will arrive sooner than expected.

According to Cyberpunk 2077's SteamDB tracking tool, the development team has something in the works, often signaling that an update is coming soon. Several annoying bugs have affected some users since the game's previous 2.1 update. These bugs include melee weapon finishing animations not activating, disappearing cyberware health pumps, disappearing map markers, etc. CD Projekt Red has stated that they are aware of some of these issues, implicitly suggesting they are working on solutions. The studio hasn't confirmed that this upcoming update will focus on bug fixes, but that seems highly likely.
