According to Devsisters, CookieRun: New World was developed using Unreal Engine and is the company's 'most ambitious game to date'. Set after the era of the legendary Five Heroes, the game takes players on a new journey across the continent of Cookie as a mysterious dark force rises.

With its open-world concept, the game promises a large-scale exploration experience, different from previous versions which focused on level-based gameplay or idle RPGs. This is considered a significant shift for a brand that has already achieved over 300 million players and exceeded $1 billion in global revenue. Besides CookieRun: New World, the Devsisters Online Showcase also provided important information about other projects within the CookieRun ecosystem.

CookieRun: Crumble is a new casual game scheduled for release in the second half of 2026 on iOS and Android. The game combines idle RPG elements with relaxed gameplay, aiming for a relaxing experience while still retaining the brand's signature style.

Meanwhile, CookieRun: Kingdom will enter Chapter 2 with a new storyline revolving around an event that fractured the timeline, triggering a war between different realities. This update also adds a new area and accelerates the pace of the storyline, and is expected to launch in May. Additionally, the game is preparing a collaboration event with K-Pop Demon Hunters in April.

Another highlight is CookieRun: OvenSmash, the series' first real-time PvP action game. Players build teams and participate in three-minute matches across multiple game modes, utilizing skills and Spell Cards to win. The game has already garnered over two million pre-registrations ahead of its March 26th release. In the card game genre, CookieRun: Braverse continues to expand with a new deck called A Game of Truth and Deceit, adding hundreds of cards and a new Extra Card system, promising increased strategic depth.

With a host of new projects and a focus on expansion, Devsisters is demonstrating its ambition to make CookieRun one of the most prominent cross-platform game franchises in the coming years.
