Crystal Dynamics continues to lay off staff!

Four months ago, the company had to cut its workforce, affecting 30 employees. Now, it will have to say goodbye to another 20 employees.
In a LinkedIn post, the developer stated that it is "cutting 20 talented members from its team." Those affected include employees in the Development department and some in the Central Operations division.

The studio stated that as they enter new phases of development, they conduct a 'team restructuring to ensure alignment with the studio's long-term goals,' and consider these departures 'necessary.'
Throughout the past year, Crystal Dynamics has had to implement a series of large-scale layoffs. In March 2025, the company had to say goodbye to 17 employees. By August 2025, it had to carry out another round of cuts with an unspecified number of people affected.
By November 2025, the company was supposed to 'part ways' with 30 employees. To date, another 20 employees have been laid off.
Currently, Crystal Dynamics is in the development phase of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis and Tomb Raider: Catalyst .
