Recent leaks surrounding Genshin Impact version 4.5 have revealed several side activities, including cat warming, which players will be testing next month. As usual, Genshin Impact players will be introduced to a new character in a major update. This time they will meet Chiori, a five-star Earth user character, rumored to be a dual-wielding character. HoYoverse hasn't revealed her skills yet, but several reliable leak sources have provided information about the character's kit, revealing that she deals a significant amount of AoE Geo damage.

In addition to events and quests, Genshin Impact offers side activities such as fishing, gathering materials around the world, and daily quests, which players can undertake whenever they wish. When they need a break from constant action, travelers can wander the map and hunt for treasure containing rewards. Furthermore, there are world quests and cave-like locations, which can be considered side activities. These sometimes provide players with a challenging combat experience they wouldn't get from powerful bosses.

Several leaks from the Genshin Impact 4.5 beta by GuraLeak have revealed in-game videos of new side activities, which appear to include potion crafting. Based on the visuals, players will collect three mint pieces to craft a consumable potion.
