Genshin Impact players can get a glimpse of the upcoming lineup of 5-star characters in the Event Banners of Version 4.6.

A reliable source within the Genshin Impact community may have revealed the Event Banners for Version 4.6, with a few unexpected reappearances. While Genshin Impact has many different elements, characters are always central: they are the game's main draw, the driving force of the gameplay, and the primary source of revenue for the HoYoverse. Therefore, knowing which characters will be released is considered valuable information for Genshin Impact players, as they can choose how to use their Primogems responsibly.

The Fontaine patch cycle introduced many popular Genshin Impact characters, such as Furina and Neuvillette, who solidified their place in the late-game meta. Others, like Xianyun and Chevreuse, enabled new gameplay for older units by enhancing in-depth concepts like Plunging Attacks and Overload. With the arrival of Arlecchino in Version 4.6, it's clear HoYoverse has ambitious plans for the rest of the Fontaine cast, but these new patches will likely be mixed with some reintroductions of key characters.

While Neuvillette and Kazuha are expected to reappear on Event Banners in the latter half of Version 4.5, it appears Wanderer and Baizhu will be making a comeback in Version 4.6. Logically, Genshin Impact expects to see Lyney accompanying the Fire House director on the Event Banners of Version 4.6.

Note that while this appears to be the current lineup for Version 4.6, HoYoverse is known for arbitrarily changing Event Banners. Most recently, Itto and Albedo were scheduled to appear on Event Banners for Version 4.3, before eventually being moved to Version 4.5. While some may be surprised by Wanderer's return, it's worth noting that he will be valid for Genshin Impact's new Chronicled Banner after Version 4.6.

Following a similar line of reasoning, it's possible that Genshin Impact will see a return of Shenhe in Version 4.7, but this remains in the realm of speculation for now. The star of Version 4.6 is expected to be Arlecchino, although the new update will also see the launch of Petrichor and Remuria in Genshin Impact, two long-awaited locations that will nearly complete Fontaine as a Region of Teyvat. The next map expansion is expected to arrive in Version 5.0 with the launch of Natlan.
