In the recently released trailer, Arc System Works and PlayStation officially announced the presence of The Amazing Guardians in Marvel Tōkon : Fighting Souls .
The team members include: Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, and Peni Parker.
In an article posted on PlayStation's website, Takeshi Yamanaka – the game's producer – shared some more information about this superhero team. Specifically, he stated that gamers will learn more about how the team was formed in the story mode of Marvel Tōkon : Fighting Souls .
Furthermore, the article also mentions the existence of a new character named 'Promoter'.
Her real name is Xirena Awhina, and she is an Elder of the universe. True to her moniker, she travels across the galaxy to organize grand events – such as the tournament featured in the game's storyline.
