Zenless Zone Zero 2.7: Nangong Yu and Cissia officially debut in the Hole-in-a-Block Heroes tournament event series.

Zenless Zone Zero version 2.7 will launch on March 24th with the Hole Hero Tournament, bringing together many warriors to battle. The update introduces a new event at Lumina Square, themed activities at the Steamer Hot Pot Restaurant, and the appearance of two new Representatives, Nangong Yu and Cissia.

The Gap Hero Tournament is stirring up New Erdu.

In version 2.7 of Zenless Zone Zero, the Hole Hero Tournament became a major event attracting attention throughout New Eridu. The competitive atmosphere spread from the city center to the outer perimeter, as warriors from all over gathered to compete for valuable rewards, including the rare Bright Gold W Engine and the glorious title for the winner.

This tournament is considered to be on an unprecedented scale. Many familiar factions are participating, including the Tricky Rabbits and the Children of Calydon. Even high-ranking Law Enforcement Officers are on the list of contestants.

In addition, rumors are circulating that the former Purifier of Calydon will also be involved. Among these mysterious figures is Romeul, also known as the Black Wolf, who is currently wanted.

In combat, Romeul can activate the Corrosion Shield, increasing Critical Damage Resistance and Interruption Resistance, while continuously draining HP from opponents. However, teams capable of dealing consistent Abnormal damage can more effectively break through this shield, adding a new tactical element to the tournament participants.

Cissia officially launches

In version 2.7 of Zenless Zone Zero, players will encounter Cissia, the Representative from the Metropolitan Police. She participates in the tournament with a rather unique fighting style, focusing on the Poison mechanic to deal damage and increase her power.

Cissia is a Pioneer Representative of the Electric attribute. Upon entering combat, she gains 3 points of Toxin, each point dealing Electric damage to enemies while also increasing her Critical Hit Rate for a period of time.

These Toxin points will gradually deplete over time; however, Cissia can continue to accumulate more through Super Combat. Additionally, players can actively deplete all remaining Toxin with the Serpent's Kiss basic attack, creating a powerful damage-dealing blow to the target. This mechanism allows Cissia to flexibly balance power accumulation or burst damage at crucial moments in battle.

Idol Nangong Yu enters the competition.

Alongside Cissia, version 2.7 of Zenless Zone Zero also introduces Nangong Yu, an S-rank Control-type Representative with the Ether attribute. This character focuses on supporting the team through Stun mechanics and increasing the effectiveness of Anomaly stacks against enemies.

During combat, Nangong Yu will automatically recover her Soul Power over time. Additionally, whenever any character in the team inflicts an enemy with Abnormal status, she will also gain additional Soul Power. Once she accumulates enough of this resource, Nangong Yu can unleash a powerful concentrated attack, dealing a large amount of Stun and prolonging the duration of the enemy's Stun.

This mechanism enhances crowd control effectiveness on the battlefield while also boosting Abnormal Accumulation Efficiency, allowing teammates to easily deal burst damage. Additionally, her Ultimate skill activates the Ether Curtain of Delusional Repetition, boosting the entire team's attack stats and helping the team maintain pressure during prolonged battles.

Nangong Yu's new costume will also be unveiled, showcasing her unique stage presence and fighting prowess.

Character banner in version 2.7

Alongside the new characters Nangong Yu and Cissia, the version 2.7 banner also marks the return of two familiar Representatives. These include Yidhari, an S-rank Representative of the Ice-attribute Life-Breaking type, and Seed, a Vanguard Representative of the Electric attribute. The return of these characters provides players with more team composition options during this new update.

New events at Lumina Square and combat challenges.

In addition to the new lineup of Representatives, version 2.7 of Zenless Zone Zero also brings many entertainment activities and combat challenges in New Eridu. A highlight is the themed event at the Hot Pot restaurant located in Lumina Square. While assisting the owner, Blaze, in resolving arising problems, the Connectors can participate in a mini-game involving dipping hot pot ingredients, featuring many interesting scenarios.

Beyond entertainment, the new version also adds special missions from the Gap Response Team, where players must use three two-character formations to fight in relay battles, requiring effective team coordination and tactical management.

The Battle Simulation Trial mode has also been updated with new content. This version adds new enemy lineups and a special Skill Point System, allowing players to achieve higher scores and compete for top rankings. Upon achieving good results, Connectors can receive various rewards such as color films, business cards, and exclusive titles.
