Zenless Zone Zero is giving away 100 free rolls with one condition.

Zenless Zone Zero recently generously gave away 100 free spins, but players should be aware of the conditions for receiving this reward.

Zenless Zone Zero players can receive 100 free spins from HoYoverse's latest promotion, but they need to claim these rewards regularly, as they aren't available right from the start. While this might come as a surprise to some players, at least they're guaranteed to receive these free spins if they continue playing Zenless Zone Zero.

Zenless Zone Zero is the latest game from Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse, launching on July 4th. Also known as ZZZ, the game is described as an urban fantasy action RPG set in the city of New Eridu. Like previous HoYoverse titles, ZZZ focuses heavily on gacha, where players can unlock new characters and weapons using in-game currency, which can also be purchased with real money.

HoYoverse's first major promotion for Zenless Zone Zero promises players 100 free spins and 80 Boopons, but these rewards aren't available immediately. To receive the free spins in Zenless Zone Zero, players must participate in several events. To unlock all 100 spins, players need to reach Link-Knot Levels 25 and 30 in the Road to Proxy Greatness event, unlock the Cunning Generosity event, and log in for seven days in the New City Visitor's Passport and Sixth Street Giveaway events. This is a rather demanding task, but it will guarantee players 1600 Polychrome, 70 Master Tapes, and 10 Encrypted Master Tapes, equivalent to the promised 100 spins.

Zenless Zone Zero players will not receive 100 rolls immediately.

In addition to these items, players can unlock 80 Boopoon, a currency that cannot be purchased with real money and is used to spin the Bangboo wheel. Five Boopoon are available through pre-registration rewards, 65 Boopoon are available upon reaching Link-Knot Level 30 in the Road to Proxy Greatness event, and another 10 Boopoon are awarded for logging in for seven days following the Eh-Nah Into Your Lap event on July 24th.

The reason HoYoverse decided to distribute these initial rewards may be to deter players from rerolling in Zenless Zone Zero. Rerolling is a common practice in gacha games, where players repeatedly delete their accounts in an attempt to roll for desired characters.

Currently, ZZZ is available for PS5, PC, and mobile devices, but it may appear on other platforms in the future. A few weeks ago, the game's producer, Zhenyu Li, confirmed that Zenless Zone Zero might be coming to Switch and Xbox. However, there is currently no official timeframe for this release.
