Corsair introduces the VANGUARD AIR 99 wireless mechanical keyboard with a low-profile design and 6 SD card slots.
Corsair, a brand specializing in peripherals, has officially launched its premium wireless keyboard, the VANGUARD AIR 99. Priced at approximately 6.8 million VND (equivalent to the equivalent of Vietnamese Dong), the product promises to be a powerful control center for gamers and professional content creators.
Sophisticated design and advanced soundproofing structure.
The first highlight of the VANGUARD AIR 99 lies in its extremely sleek Low Profile design, yet it ensures durability thanks to its elegantly patterned aluminum frame. Corsair calls this the 99% layout, aiming to optimize desk space while retaining a full numeric keypad, although the individual function keys have been removed to create the cleanest possible appearance.
To deliver a smooth and premium typing experience, the company has equipped it with a damping gasket structure of up to 5 layers, completely eliminating unwanted vibrations and noise, creating a crisp and solid typing sound.
Optical switch technology and superior performance.
The keyboard's core strength comes from its next-generation CORSAIR OPX Low Profile optical switch system. This switch uses infrared to detect key presses, boasting an ultra-short actuation point of just 1.5mm and a total key travel of 2.5mm, optimizing reaction speed in fast-paced fighting games.
With an impressive lifespan of up to 80 million keystrokes, each key is pre-lubricated at the factory and incorporates a curved lens to diffuse brilliant ARGB lighting. Notably, the product also supports the advanced SOCD feature, allowing gamers to perform complex key combinations with absolute precision.
Elgato's customization capabilities and ecosystem
The Corsair VANGUARD AIR 99 truly shines thanks to its extensive integration with the Elgato Stream Deck ecosystem. In the left corner of the keyboard is a cluster of six dedicated, programmable Stream Deck buttons, accompanied by a sharp 1.9-inch IPS display with a 320x170 resolution and a multi-function rotary dial.
This combination allows users to control live broadcasts, adjust volume, or switch software profiles with just one touch. In terms of connectivity, the device supports three flexible modes including Bluetooth and high-speed wireless connection with a sampling rate of up to 8kHz, ensuring near-zero latency in all usage scenarios.
