The setting will retain the distinctive spirit of the Dragon Quest series, where players embark on thrilling adventures to conquer new lands. As a warrior, players will guide their companion Maru through hordes of ferocious monsters.

The role-playing game Dragon Quest Smash/Grow perfectly combines fast-paced hack-and-slash gameplay with unexpected Roguelite mechanics. In particular, the completely random 'Blessing' element requires players to constantly strategize, making each playthrough a completely new experience. 

The game not only perfectly recreates the classic art style with familiar characters and monsters, but also upgrades a range of advanced visuals and effects, giving players a feeling that is both familiar and new throughout the experience.
