Razer Viper V4 Pro revealed despite clever camouflage.

With the familiar Viper silhouette and a wireless transceiver similar to the Deathadder V4 Pro, this could be Razer's next product.

Razer's next-generation high-end gaming mouse may have just been spotted at the recent Valorant VCT Americas tournament. BBL team member Rose was seen using a mysteriously disguised mouse, and it looks very similar to the new Razer Viper V4 Pro.

Razer has made a similar move before, when we spotted the Razer Deathadder V4 Pro being used publicly in tournaments months before its official launch. That mouse became one of the best gaming mouse options last year.

In the first two images, we can see the front of the mouse, which looks very similar to the Viper V3 Pro, with a symmetrical shape in contrast to the 'ergonomic' shape of the Deathadder V4 Pro that was spotted in previous leaked images. The camouflage isn't clearly visible, but it looks very similar to the camouflage used for the Deathadder V4 Pro.

Meanwhile, in the third image, we can see that the mouse uses a disguised wireless transceiver that looks exactly like the new transceiver used in the Deathadder V4 Pro. This large and heavy transceiver provides an 8kHz sampling rate over wireless connection for the Deathadder, so we can expect similar capabilities from the Viper V4 Pro.

Regarding other specifications, we can't gleam much more from these images, but I predict this mouse will have core capabilities almost identical to the Deathadder V4 Pro, including the use of the Razer Focus Pro 45K Gen-2 optical sensor with a DPI range of 50-45,000, and the use of Razer Gen-4 optical mouse switches.

This model is expected to be slightly lighter than the 54g of the Viper V3 Pro, although Razer hasn't focused too much on weight reduction on their recent mouse models, so I would be surprised if the Viper V4 Pro weighs significantly less than 50g.

Regarding the price and release date of the Viper V4 Pro, it's only possible to speculate, but the time between the Deathadder V4 Pro appearing in tournaments and its release is approximately three months, so an April release seems plausible. Meanwhile, the Deathadder V4 Pro launched at $169.99, and I predict the Viper V4 Pro will be priced similarly.
