Bloober Team Reveals Many Ambitious Projects for 2026

The renowned horror game developer Bloober Team claims that 2026 will be a pivotal year for their future.

The Cronos: The New Dawn team is shifting its focus to a new project.

In recent years, Bloober Team has grown significantly, particularly after the success of  Silent Hill 2 Remake , alongside  Cronos: The New Dawn.  This has allowed the company to expand its operations, manage multiple development teams simultaneously, and operate an additional branch called Broken Mirror Games to handle specialized projects. Notably, based on the company's recent investor report, a completely new flagship project is underway.

Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno confirmed that the creative team behind  Cronos: The New Dawn  has entered the pre-production phase of a completely new franchise. Currently, it's known only as  "Project H."  According to Inwestycje.pl, Babieno described it as 'the most ambitious project the team has ever undertaken ,' and claimed it has the greatest commercial potential in the company's history. However, while 'Project H' is designed to reach a wider audience and achieve higher sales than previous projects, the studio will remain cautious in managing resources.

The budget for this game is expected to remain within the scope of Cronos, thanks to leveraging existing production pipelines and technical expertise to maintain development efficiency. A notable point is that the focus on the new franchise means Cronos: The New Dawn fans  hoping for a sequel will have to wait longer. There are currently no plans to continue the story from  The New Dawn , as the entire team is currently focused on  "Project H".

"Project M" revealed, reaffirming collaboration with Konami.

In addition, another mysterious game called 'Project M' is also being developed by the subsidiary Broken Mirror Games . Notably, Project M will be a Nintendo exclusive, with many rumors suggesting it's being developed specifically for the Nintendo Switch 2. Babieno revealed that Project M's gameplay is something 'only possible on Nintendo hardware' , and will appeal to fans of classic titles such as  Resident Evil, Limbo, Eternal Darkness, and more.

Despite the project undergoing some 'organizational changes' and personnel adjustments, the leadership team remains satisfied with the current direction. Because the studio now largely self-funds its projects, they have ample creative freedom to experiment with unique ideas, especially features tightly integrated with each platform.

In addition to original projects, the studio is also strengthening its partnership with Konami. Although not directly mentioned in any reports, multiple sources have confirmed that Bloober Team is developing a remake of the first Silent Hill game. This project has been assigned to the same internal team that worked on the Silent Hill 2 remake, ensuring a consistent creative vision for the legendary survival horror franchise.
