Crimson Desert has sold nearly 400,000 copies on Steam even before its release!

According to reports from industry experts, Crimson Desert appears to have sold nearly 400,000 copies on Steam even before its official release.

This data comes from Alinea Analytics, a website specializing in analyzing data in the gaming industry. Specifically, they stated that as of March 16th, the game had sold 363,000 pre-orders.

In other words, the game had already raised over $20 million even before its release. Of those 363,000 copies, 10% of the sales came from March 16th alone – equivalent to $2.6 million.

In addition, the game has a total of 2.2 million wishlists on Steam.

Recently, Pearl Abyss angered many gamers when they announced that Crimson Desert would utilize Denuvo (anti-crack software). However, the company reassured everyone by confirming that all performance-showcasing videos posted so far were from the Denuvo version.

Currently, Crimson Desert is scheduled to be released to the gaming community on March 19th on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), as well as on Mac and ROG Xbox Ally at a price of $70 for the standard edition.
