Albion Online will launch on Xbox Series this April.
Sandbox Interactive has officially announced that its medieval-themed open-world MMORPG, Albion Online, will launch on Xbox Series 1 on April 21st. The game will be free to play and will feature a comprehensive cross-play system.
Marking its debut on consoles, this open-world, player-controlled game is expected to reach a large, entirely new audience. With this launch, Albion Online is committed to providing the most complete experience for the Xbox gaming community. A notable highlight is the seamless connectivity across all existing servers, along with perfect game progress synchronization across all platforms.
Before venturing into the console market, Albion Online had a long journey to establish its position. The game was first released for PC, Mac, and Linux platforms on July 17, 2017.
Four years later, the mobile version for iOS and Android devices was officially launched on June 9, 2021, laying a solid foundation for the upcoming move to the Xbox Series platform.
