The highlight of update 2.0 is the introduction of 'Dimension Over Mode', a mode for players who have completed the true ending. In this mode, players will experience all three paths simultaneously—α, β, and γ—with HP and energy remaining constant throughout.

The difficulty of this mode is significantly increased as the final boss possesses new, more powerful attacks, while the environment is constantly filled with spores that provide continuous pressure. Additionally, the mode supports a speedrun feature, allowing players to challenge themselves and improve their time records.

To cater to the speedrun gaming community, the developers have added a timer and a record-saving system. Many disruptive elements, such as the animation of elite enemies appearing, can now be skipped, optimizing the gameplay experience. These changes contribute to increased replay value, encouraging players to return to conquer the game with better times.

Upgrade the crafting system and balance the gameplay.

Another major change is in the crafting system, with the addition of 'status up tiles'. This new mechanism gives players more flexibility in weapon design, instead of repeating familiar builds every time they play. The random tile arrangement also increases tactical depth and helps create more powerful weapons. The game also displays the highest damage and highlights blocks that deal significant damage, making it easier for players to optimize their builds. Additionally, the toughness of enemies in later stages has been adjusted more appropriately, balancing the experience between offense and defense.

Update 2.0 also brings a host of other changes such as D-pad support, improved controls, menu interface redesign, and the addition of a new title screen. Some boss stats in the routes have also been fine-tuned, along with minor adjustments to the storyline and dialogue.

With a significant amount of content and numerous quality improvements, update 2.0 is considered a crucial upgrade, making Million Depth more appealing to both new and veteran players.
