PUBG: Blindspot unexpectedly announces closure after 2 months since launch.
Less than two months after its Early Access launch, the top-down tactical shooter PUBG: Blindspot has unexpectedly announced it will officially shut down on March 30th.
PUBG: Blindspot was introduced as a top-down, 5v5 tactical shooter offering fast-paced, tactical combat with realistic gunplay mechanics. The game officially entered Early Access on February 5th, generating high expectations from the community. However, the project failed to sustain itself in the market for long.
In a recent update posted on Steam, Sequoia Yang, a representative of the ARC Team development group, officially confirmed that the early testing phase of the game will close on Monday, March 30th.
A studio representative shared that they had made every effort to explore options to improve the gaming experience for the community. However, after evaluation, the development team concluded that they were no longer able to sustain development to deliver a quality experience that met their initial vision and expectations.
