According to industry experts, Resident Evil Requiem is the best-selling game of 2026 in the United States.

Shortly after its release, Capcom confirmed the game had sold over 6 million copies worldwide – becoming the best-selling game in the entire series. 

Recently, Mat Piscatella (from Circana) shared sales figures for various products on the market this year. He stated that Resident Evil Requiem is currently the best-selling game of the year.

Behind the game are familiar names like NBA 2K26 , Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 , Madden NFL 26 , and Minecraft .

Specifically, compared to Resident Evil Village during the same one-week period, Requiem generated 60% more revenue and 40% more sales than Village .

Furthermore, Piscatella stated that the game ranked first on the list of best-selling games in February 2026 on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC in the United States.

Currently, Resident Evil Requiem is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) for $70 for the standard edition.
