Fruit Mountain Party is scheduled for release on Switch 2 and Switch.
BeXide recently officially announced Fruit Mountain Party, a 3D multiplayer puzzle party game that will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch in spring 2026. Currently, the game is in Early Access on PC via Steam.
Fruit Mountain Party first launched in Early Access on PC on August 28th, quickly attracting attention thanks to its gameplay that inherits and expands from Fruit Mountain, the 3D puzzle game that was previously well-received by the community. In this new version, players continue to combine identical fruits to create larger ones, but the highlight lies in the addition of competitive elements and gameplay modes.
According to BeXide, Fruit Mountain Party focuses heavily on the multiplayer experience, allowing players to participate in online or local matches with friends. The game offers various versus modes, designed to suit both casual players and groups of friends looking for a lively atmosphere during gatherings. The inclusion of 'fruit battles' in the gameplay makes the matches more exciting, rather than focusing solely on individual scoring as in previous games.
For the Nintendo Switch version, BeXide announced that players will have their first opportunity to experience Fruit Mountain Party firsthand at major gaming events in Japan. Specifically, the game will be featured at the Osaka Game Dungeon on December 27th at MyDome Osaka, as well as at Tokyo eSports Festa 2026, held from January 9th to 11th, 2026 at Tokyo Big Sight. This is considered an important step in introducing the game to the console community before its official release.
With confirmed releases on both Switch 2 and Switch, Fruit Mountain Party demonstrates Nintendo's ambition to expand its player base to console platforms, while leveraging the strengths of Nintendo's consoles in party and multiplayer games. BeXide plans to continue providing updates on gameplay, patches, and new updates for the PC Early Access version before the official release in 2026.
