The Last of Us Part 2 is expected to be released on PC next year, coinciding with the premiere of season 2 of the television series. images 1 of The PC version of The Last of Us Part 2 is basically finished.

With The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered released this past January on PS4 and PS5, it was believed that a PC version would be announced soon, especially with season 2 of the TV series fast approaching. Now it seems the PC version of the game has also been confirmed.

According to dataminer billbil-kun, who recently revealed incredibly accurate information about God of War: Ragnarok on PC, the PC version of The Last of Us 2 is essentially complete. However, it's highly likely that it's being held back until 2025 to coincide with the broadcast of season 2 of the HBO television series.

Last year, The Last of Us Part 1 was also released on PC shortly after season 1 of the TV series aired on HBO. However, it was a terrible port, and the community heavily criticized Sony for releasing the game too early to coincide with the show. If it's true that the port for part 2 is almost complete and its release date has been postponed to align with the show, then this is good news because the game will have more time to be refined and polished to achieve the best possible quality on PC.

The main concern now is whether Sony PlayStation will require the PC version to connect to PSN. If it's similar to God of War: Ragnarok, Helldivers 2, and Ghost of Tsushima recently, then the game will be region-locked in Vietnam.
