Capcom reveals how it uses AI technology!
Recently, Capcom officially confirmed that it will not include AI-generated content in its games.
Nevertheless, the company will still seek ways to leverage AI technology to support employees and improve productivity during the production phase.
In a recent meeting with investors, the company shared a range of statistics, financial indicators, business results, and future goals.

In the Q&A session, the company was asked about leveraging AI generation technology in game development.
"Please tell us how the [ Capcom ] team is responding to the use of generative AI in the development process."
When asked, a Capcom representative responded as follows:
"We do not include AI-generated content in our games."
However, we plan to proactively apply technologies that help improve efficiency and productivity in the game development process.
Therefore, we are currently experimenting with how to apply these technologies in various fields of work, such as graphics and audio.
In other words, Capcom doesn't want AI-generated content to be present in the final version of its products, but they will still utilize the technology in the production process.
However, it remains unclear whether the employees here will face the risk of losing their jobs in the future.
The use of AI generation in games is a hotly debated topic in the gaming industry, and Pearl Abyss recently had to issue an apology for utilizing this technology in Crimson Desert .
