Developer Pearl Abyss has officially announced that its open-world action-adventure game, Crimson Desert, has surpassed 4 million copies sold worldwide.
In a recent announcement to the gaming community, Pearl Abyss representatives couldn't hide their pride and expressed their deep gratitude: "Crimson Desert has sold four million copies globally. A heartfelt thank you to all the Greymane who have been with us on this journey, and for the incredible love and support you've shown for the game."
This expression of gratitude not only marks a significant commercial milestone but also demonstrates the strong bond between the developer and the gaming community that has been with the project since its inception.
Crimson Desert officially launched on March 19th on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series 1, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The game quickly became a global sensation, surpassing 2 million copies sold in just one day after its release.
The growth momentum continued impressively, with the game reaching 3 million copies sold on March 24th, before officially setting its current record of 4 million copies.
