Netmarble releases new trailer for action RPG blockbuster Solo Leveling: Karma
Netmarble has just officially shared the latest trailer for Solo Leveling: Karma, a roguelite-style action RPG adapted from the popular franchise of the same name.
Solo Leveling: Karma introduces an original storyline set in the Spatial Void, an aspect never explored in the original work. Here, protagonist Sung Jinwoo must confront a fierce 27-year war between the Kings. At the heart of this epic is the 'Shattered Reincarnation Cup,' a powerful artifact that can only be restored through Jinwoo's fragmented memories.
In this new game, fans will witness Jinwoo's dazzling combat skills as he expertly wields a vast arsenal of weapons including daggers, scythes, and bows and arrows. The protagonist will face a host of formidable monsters that wreaked havoc in the original series, such as the Gatekeeper of Hell Cerberus, the Hobgoblin Leader, the Greedy Vulcan, the Demon King Baran, and the Divine Statue of the Cartenon Temple.
The game's plot depth is heightened when the original characters take the main stage, increasing the level of immersion through cinematic storytelling and dramatic plot twists.
Featuring a hack-and-slash combat system from a metric-view perspective, Solo Leveling: Karma delivers a fast-paced, highly responsive gameplay experience with devastating action. The game also incorporates strategic Blessing upgrades to boost stats and skill levels, combined with mechanics that promote the continuous development of the character.
But that's not all; players also have the power to summon iconic dark warriors like Iron and Igris, and unleash signature combos that are characteristic of Solo Leveling's unique fighting style.
With a clear vision, Solo Leveling: Karma aims to appeal to all types of players, offering a roguelite experience that is both easy to learn and possesses a depth that sets it apart from its competitors in the genre.
